Job summary

Poseidon Aerospace is seeking a composite technician to fabricate and assemble advanced composite components for aerospace prototype and development programs. You will work with hand layup, resin infusion, and bonding techniques to build tooling and jigs as needed.

You will read engineering drawings and CAD models, collaborate with engineers, and support both one-offs and high-rate prototype builds. This role emphasizes safety, precision, and hands-on manufacturing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on composite fabrication experience in prototype, marine, or aerospace environments preferred.
• Proficiency with hand layup, prepreg handling, and vacuum bagging techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and process specifications.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate composite components using hand layup, resin infusion, and bonding techniques.
• Build, modify, and maintain custom molds, fixtures, and jigs for prototype part fabrication and assembly.
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret 3D models and drawings from concepts to final parts.
• Develop layup methods, cure cycles, and fabrication approaches for new designs.
