Job summary

Robertson Fuel Systems in Tempe, AZ, seeks a Composite Technician I-V to perform lay-up, trimming, and bonding of aerospace composite components. You will read drawings, apply resins, and ensure tight tolerances while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with lay-up processes, basic repairs, and proper use of tools, with strict adherence to process specifications. A strong work ethic, teamwork, and commitment to protecting lives are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 8+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience with lay-up, composites, and blueprint reading.
• Forklift certified or willing to become certified.
• Ability to interpret drawings, orders, and process specs.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings, orders, and work instructions.
• Weigh resins and adhesives with traceability.
• Cut, lay up, sand, and finish composite parts.
• Maintain process documentation and traceability.
• Coordinate with Quality and Supply Chain.
• Support training for less experienced technicians.
