Job summary

Robertson Fuel Systems is seeking a Composite Technician I-V to support aerospace composite repair, lay-up, trimming, and related processes on site in Arizona. You will read drawings, weigh resins, cut materials, and perform sanding, lamination, and bonding operations to meet blueprint tolerances.

The role requires strong attention to detail, English communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 8+ years in manufacturing.
• Ability to read drawings, work orders, and instructions.
• Proven ability to follow blueprints and process specs.
• Capability to operate basic shop tools used in lay-up and assembly.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
• Comfort with MS Office and standard software.
• Clear written/spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and work orders to determine requirements.
• Weigh resins/adhesives with correct ratios and traceability.
• Mark and cut woven materials and core materials per templates.
• Smooth layers to target thickness, without wrinkles or voids.
• Perform vacuum bagging and leak checks.
• Route, drill, trim, and sand to drawing tolerances.
• Record material lot numbers and expiration dates for traceability.
• Assist with training and provide guidance to less experienced technicians.
• Ensure adherence to safety, TCP, and quality policies.
