Job summary

CPI Radant Technologies Division Inc., located in Hudson, Massachusetts, is seeking an Assembler II to work on radomes and advanced structural composites for aerospace and defense applications. You will fabricate parts and assemblies from written instructions and sketches, performing lay-up work on composite parts using resin-reinforced fabrics and hand tools.

The ideal candidate reads, writes, and understands English, can follow written instructions, and communicates clearly.

Qualifications

Reads, writes, and understands English.
Good written documentation and oral communication skills.
Ability to follow written instructions and manufacturing plans/sketches.
Must be able to read from written instructions and follow verbal directions.
Pushing/pulling/lifting up to 30 pounds.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Fabricate parts, products, and assemblies from written instructions and sketches.
Manually perform lay-up assemblies of composite parts using resin-reinforced fabrics with hand tools.
Trim / Drill and assemble Radomes.
Tape / Sand / Wash Radomes for coatings.
Work to schedules and action lists to complete tasks and goals.
