Qualifications

• 3+ years of carbon fiber composite materials research, testing, or manufacturing.
• Experience with carbon fiber prepreg systems and structural composites.
• Knowledge of ASTM, ASM, NASA, ISO standards and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Research and select composite materials and processes for structural applications.
• Lead material testing, including microscopy, thermal analysis, and mechanical testing.
• Develop specifications and support design and manufacturing teams.
• Perform failure analysis and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff and collaborate across groups.
