Job summary

Composite Impulse is seeking an engineering professional to design components and jigs for aerospace, motorsport and maritime applications. You will work from concept to production, applying your fibre composite expertise and collaborating with production, QA, customers and suppliers.

You will document design decisions precisely and communicate clearly. A degree in engineering and strong CAD skills with Fibre Composites experience are essential, with fluency in German and English required.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, lightweight construction or similar) completed.
• At least 2 years’ experience in fibre composites.
• SolidWorks and CATIA proficient, not just basic knowledge.
• Analytical thinking, precision and clear communication.
• Fluent in German and English – both required.

Responsibilities

• Design components, tools and jigs using SolidWorks and CATIA.
• See projects through from concept to production with responsibility.
• Select materials and processes and justify choices.
• Work with production, quality control, customers and suppliers.
• Document everything accurately in accordance with specifications.
