Job summary

Applied Composites is seeking a Production Assembler 2 in Brea, CA to perform routine assembly of small parts under defined instructions, using basic shop tools, calipers, and micrometers. You will work with the assembly team to prepare carbon fiber composites for paint and finalize subassemblies.

This role requires 2–4 years of experience, a High School Diploma, and familiarity with LEAN practices. You must wear PPE, document materials for traceability, and demonstrate good manual dexterity and

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Years’ Experience: 2-4 years relevant work experience.
• Skills: mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret instructions, manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic shop tools and light machinery.
• Sandblast parts with minimal scrap or errors.
• Measure and verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and scales.
• Document materials used for traceability.
• Follow safety policies and LEAN manufacturing principles.
• Assist with prep of composite parts for paint department.
