PDS Tech Commercial in Chandler, AZ seeks a Cold Heading Setup Operator to manufacture aerospace fasteners with precision and efficiency. You will set up, operate, and maintain cold heading machinery, ensuring high-quality results for demanding components.

Responsibilities include tooling adjustments, routine maintenance, and in-process inspections. The role requires teamwork, strong attention to detail, and adherence to ISO/AS standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience as a Cold Heading Setup Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Experience with cold heading machinery, tooling, and fastener manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate cold heading machines to manufacture aerospace fasteners and precision components.
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and material feeds to meet specifications and standards.
• Monitor performance and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify tolerances.
• Identify defects and adjust machines or processes to maintain quality.
• Support process improvements and assist training of new operators.
