Job summary

Cutting Dynamics, LLC in Avon, Ohio, part of the Re:Build Manufacturing family, seeks a second-shift paint technician to apply coatings to precision components used in aerospace and other high-precision industries. You will review travelers and blueprints, mask parts, load and unload from booths, and verify paint settings to meet exacting standards.

You will maintain a clean, safe work area, follow all procedures for material handling, and document results.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Hands-on industrial or automotive painting background.
Ability to inspect work effectively and consistently.
Comfort with basic math for mixing, measuring, and recording.
Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

Apply coatings rapidly and precisely to fabricated parts while maintaining safety and quality controls.
Load/unload components from booths, drying racks, and related equipment.
Clean, degrease, and prepare parts before and after painting.
Mask to specification using blueprints, travelers, and written instructions.
Stage items for downstream processing, inspection, or packaging.
Visually and dimensionally verify finish quality against standards.
Start and monitor paint equipment and auxiliary systems.
Operate paint tools safely and accurately; assist teammates as needed.
Maintain a tidy work area; clean tools and equipment after use.
