PRECI MANUFACTURING INC is seeking a skilled CNC Tool Maker & Prototype Machinist in Winooski, VT. This full-time, on-site role involves driving our tool room, machining complex prototypes, and maintaining tooling for aerospace-grade production lines.

You will set up and operate mills, lathes, grinders, and presses, develop fixtures, and collaborate with engineering on DFM and toolpath optimization, ensuring strict GD&T tolerances.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of high-level manual and CNC machining in a tool room, prototype, or high-mix environment.
• Proven proficiency in Mastercam and SolidWorks.
• Expert-level blueprint reading, deep understanding of GD&T, and tolerance stack-ups.
• Strong problem-solver balancing immediate execution with process optimization.

Aufgaben

• Engineer solutions: take concepts from print to reality, machining precision tooling, fixtures, and rapid prototypes from high-temp alloys, steel, aluminum, and plastics.
• Command the tool room: set up and operate manual and CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and presses to hold critical tolerances.
• Innovate setups: design and machine custom fixtures and dies to enable aerospace tolerances on the production floor.
• Bridge the gap: work cross-functionally with engineering to integrate DFM principles and optimize toolpaths in Mastercam.
