Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer responsible for planning, developing, programming, setup and operation of CNC machines used to repair turbine engine components.

Mastercam and NC Plot drive programming, with strong emphasis on GD&T and first article inspection. You will work in a modern, climate-controlled shop within a large machining department, collaborating with engineers and machinists to optimize processes, fixtures, and tools while ensuring OEM

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in operating CNC Milling and/or Turning and/or Grind equipment.
• Job shop type environment experience.
• First article experience.
• Five plus years of experience in creative problem solving on machine setups, tooling, fixturing.
• Firm understanding of GD&T, critical dimensioning, and relationships between dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC machines for turbine engine components.
• Develop and create CNC language and programs for milling, turning and grinding.
• Work from engineering drawings to plan and direct tool paths.
• Develop and control new product programming procedures with test runs and first piece inspection.
• Test and evaluate completed CNC programming for accuracy.
• Document setup information and assist in fixture and tooling design.
• Present findings and recommendations to relevant levels of the company.
