Job summary

CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a CNC Maintenance Mechanic to repair, assemble and test CNC machines and equipment on a full-time day shift.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, inspect machines for malfunctions, and document work performed. Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools are required; experience with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems is preferred. The role demands safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills required.
• Knowledge of hand tools and industrial tools.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical and plumbing preferred.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects, up to 35 lbs. More with assistance.
• Ability to stand or walk the majority of the shift; bend, kneel, stoop, squat as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair, assemble and test CNC machines and equipment.
• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
• Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
• Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Complete repairs and parts replacements.
• Work effectively with other team members in a safe environment.
• Repair, install, adjust or maintain machines or vehicles.
• Complete written record of work performed.
