Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing seeks a Machine Operator to work at our Avon, OH facility. The role involves operating CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality according to process routing.

Minimum 1–3 years’ experience required, with strong measurement and inspection skills in a fast-paced aerospace-adjacent environment. The position is 1st shift, five days a week, eight hours per day, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years of experience with Vertical/Horizontal CNC Milling.
• Willing to work 1st Shift: 5 day work week, 8 hour shifts.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Proficient with machining operations like drilling, turning and tapping.
• Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines.
• Demonstrates inspection competence.
• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
• Has both mechanical and technical capacity.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, load and run product into the CNC machine.
• Performs daily maintenance on equipment and cleans work area after each shift.
• Performs manual deburring operations as needed.
• Follows Process Routing Document and records inspection results.
• Completes reports and other paperwork.
• Communicates with management and shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Follows quality management procedures and forms.
• Safeguards company and supplier property.
• Manages assigned records as owner.
