Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is hiring a CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to blueprint specifications at our Penrose, CO site, with a transition to Pueblo. You will support production in a rapidly evolving aerospace/defense environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year CNC experience or vocational training, read blueprints, and handle precision measurement; FBI/DoD background check and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ year CNC operating experience or completes machining/vocational training.
• Reading blueprints and work orders; basic G-code knowledge.
• Comfort with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to parts quality to spec.
• Reliable, safety-focused, able to work independently and in fast-paced production.
• Must be able to pass FBI/DoD background check and obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes per programs and setup sheets.
• Load material, select tooling, and adjust offsets as needed.
• Inspect parts in-process and finished components for conformance using precision gauges.
• Monitor cycles and make minor adjustments to maintain quality and cycle time.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the area clean and safe.
• Report tooling wear, quality issues, or malfunctions promptly to lead/supervisor.
• Maintain production and inspection records and support transition to new facility.
