Job summary

Voyager Technologies, an aerospace and defense technology company, seeks a Senior CNC Programmer onsite in Penrose, CO with a transition to Pueblo, CO. You will program, set up, and operate advanced multi-axis CNC equipment including 5-axis mills and live-tooling lathes to produce aerospace-grade parts.

Ideal candidates have expert SolidWorks CAM skills, experience with exotic alloys like Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel, and a track record of delivering first-part success in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Expert-level SolidWorks CAM for 5-axis milling and mill-turn.
• Experience machining exotic alloys (Inconel, Titanium, Stainless Steel) to tight tolerances.
• Proficient with live-tooling lathes with Y-axis capability.
• Ability to develop and optimize 5-axis toolpaths and verify with simulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Eligible to pass security background checks and obtain clearances.

Responsibilities

• Create highly efficient SolidWorks CAM programs for 5-axis mill and mill-turn operations.
• Design and model fixtures and tooling to support precision part production across alloys.
• Program, set up, and operate live-tooling lathes with Y-axis capability.
• Execute true 5-axis strategies with gouge checking and toolpath optimization.
• Develop manufacturing processes from drawing to finished parts and debug programs.
• Build and maintain machine models and simulate multi-axis setups for safety and accuracy.
• Support the transition to a new aerospace-capable facility with automation focus.
