Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Penrose, CO seeks a CNC Operator to set up and run CNC mills and lathes, producing precision components per blueprint specifications. The role supports Voyager Energetics’ production as the team moves to a new automation-capable facility.

You will read blueprints, verify tolerances with calipers and micrometers, and maintain accurate production records. Eligibility for FBI/DoD background and a Secret clearance is required; travel is minimal and onsite work in

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, work orders and basic G-code.
• Use of precision measuring tools to verify conformance.
• Ability to pass FBI/DoD background check and obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes according to programs and setup sheets.
• Load material, select tooling, and adjust offsets as needed.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure specifications.
• Monitor cycles and maintain quality, tolerances and cycle time.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the area safe and organized.
• Report tooling wear or malfunctions to lead promptly.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
