Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes from blueprint review to first article approval.
• Strong problem solving and collaboration with engineering and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete CNC lathe setups, including tooling selection, offsets, and first article approval.
• Machining aerospace components to tight tolerances in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment and perform first article and in-process inspections.
• Edit offsets and adjust programs at the machine as needed.
• Troubleshoot tooling, machining, and quality issues with engineering and quality teams.
