Job summary

Amazon Leo Receiving Quality is hiring a CMM Programmer to develop and optimize CMM programs (PC‑DMIS) for aerospace components. You will program, set up, and operate CMMs, generate setup instructions, and ensure data integrity with backups and configuration control.

You will perform FAIs per AS9102, inspect incoming materials, support PPAP, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with Quality, Design and Manufacturing teams in a demanding aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years CMM programming experience using PC‑DMIS
• Proficient in First Article Inspections per AS9102
• Experience reading blueprints with GD&T per ASME Y14.5M
• Experience with receiving inspection of aerospace components
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Experience with tight‑tolerance, high‑value aerospace components
• Documentation and tracking of discrepancy/non‑conformance reports
• Calibration management experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and optimize offline and online CMM programs (PC‑DMIS)
• Program, set up, and operate coordinate measuring machines for aerospace parts
• Create CMM setup and operation instructions for specific parts or machines
• Manage CMM data storage, backups, and configuration control
• Edit and improve legacy inspection programs; mentor entry‑level staff
• Inspect incoming material, WIP, and final parts for conformance
• Perform FAIs per AS9102 and document results
• Support PPAP submissions and digitization for FAI/PPAP
• Collaborate with Quality, Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams
