Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or regulations.
• Ability to perform arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions precisely.
• Ability to handle several variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear; PPE usage required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds.
• Vision capabilities: close, distance, color, depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CMMs to measure and inspect parts with minimal supervision.
• Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and other precision instruments.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and CAD models for measurements.
• Perform dimensional inspections to ensure specifications are met.
• Record and analyze measurement data using computer software.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
