Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FMC division in Irvine, CA is seeking a CMM Quality Inspector on 2nd shift to perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components using CMM and hand tools.

You will review paperwork, create inspection reports, load CMM programs, and ensure compliance with AS9102, GD&T, and FAA requirements. Benefits include day-1 eligibility for medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years quality inspection experience.
• 2+ years operating CMM in aerospace/regulated env.
• Relocation not offered; reside within 50 miles of Irvine facility.
• U.S. person per export controls requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections using CMM and hand tools.
• Review paperwork and documentation for acceptance of product.
• Create/load CMM inspection programs and generate inspection reports.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T to determine inspection methods and measurement strategies.
• Document inspection results and nonconforming conditions in reports and systems.
