Job summary

ES3 is seeking a Chemist for our Georgia Technical Operation Center in Warner Robins, GA. The role supports analytical testing and evaluation of chemistries for Aircraft Systems, Structures and MRO activities, including surface treatments and environmental analysis.

The candidate will work with engineers to interpret data, manage testing procedures, and ensure proper inventory, waste handling, and safety. A Bachelor’s in Chemistry is required; Master’s is a plus, with 0–15 years of related

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – Chemistry from an ABET accredited university or college. Master’s Degree is a plus.
• Entry Level to 15 years of related experience
• Aerospace Industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, Qualification, Corrosion, Chemical and Mechanical Lab Testing (Hydrogen Embrittlement, Adhesion, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, Titration, Corrosion, Fluid Compatibility, Analytical Testing, etc.)
• Perform material and process operations and related development tasks and analysis
• Conduct complex analysis and evaluation of surfaces, coatings, electroplated deposits and other surface modification technologies to evaluate and measure performance capabilities under operational conditions.
• Technical Data Publication and Review
• Report Generation and Publication
• Inventory, storage, and disposal of chemicals and lab supplies
• Hazardous Waste coordination with managers and subcontractors
• General upkeep and maintenance of the lab area and equipment
• Perform other duties as requested
