Astrion is seeking a Chemist III to support the LASSO II contract at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL. This full-time role operates on the second shift, with initial training on the first shift to ensure full proficiency with procedures, equipment, and safety requirements.

Mansioni

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses for quality control and product development.
• Develop analytical methods for trace contaminants testing in various matrices.
• Assist laboratory activities in analytical testing of aerospace systems and commodities.
• Perform laboratory investigations and troubleshooting of analytical problems.
• Train Laboratory Technicians to approved Technical Operating Procedures, including on-the-job training.
• Coordinate and provide technical assistance to NASA/Contractor personnel.
• Ensure laboratory practices conform to certifications and compliance standards.
