Job summary

Chromalloy Carson City is seeking a Chemical Process Operator to support repair and processing of critical aerospace components. This hands-on manufacturing role involves working with production materials, equipment, and tooling while following established procedures to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met.

In this role, you will contribute to aviation safety and reliability, with overnight hours 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM and a shift differential of $2–$4 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools or learn quickly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment, fixtures, and tools.
• Blend surfaces and remove or apply material using hand tools and machinery.
• Mix and prepare production materials according to established processes.
• Modify and process parts to required specifications.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality requirements.
• Follow production instructions and specifications with a high level of accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow quality standards, procedures, and inspection requirements.
• Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations.
