Job summary

StandardAero in Phoenix is seeking a Chemical Engineer to lead aerospace chemical processing operations, ensuring compliance and optimizing performance across electroplating and chemical treatments. You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Laboratory, Process Planning, and Business Development to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.

You will develop process flowcharts, procedures, and work instructions, support audits, and guide vendor/customer interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and engineering support for aerospace chemical processing operations.
  • Troubleshoot issues, drive continuous improvement, and support regulatory audits.
  • Develop process flowcharts, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Laboratory, Process Planning, and Business Development teams.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and customers during facility visits.
  • Lead lean initiatives and cost-reduction efforts.
