Job summary

Solestial, Inc. in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Engineering professional to join our manufacturing R&D team and scale advanced electroplating processes for space-grade solar technologies.

You will design experiments, optimize nickel and gold plating, troubleshoot equipment, and develop procedures while ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or related.
• Experience with electroplating, wet chemistry, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of process development and scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize electroplating processes used in solar cell manufacturing.
• Develop, characterize, and scale nickel and gold plating processes for production.
• Support existing copper plating operations and continuous process improvement.
