Job summary

Poly6 is looking for a Ceramics Manufacturing Engineer to enhance manufacturing processes for advanced ceramics in Burlington, MA. This full-time role involves collaborating with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with aerospace standards like AS9100 and NADCAP. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Materials Science or related field with 3+ years of ceramics manufacturing experience. Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in ceramics manufacturing or 7+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Experience with non‑destructive testing (NDT) methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for advanced ceramics.
  • Provide engineering support to production teams.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP).
  • Lead initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Create and maintain detailed process documentation.

Skills

Knowledge of ceramics manufacturing processes
Experience with CAD software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering

SolidWorks
