Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred: a degree in Materials Science & Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Experience in a Casting environment is preferred.
• Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or a lab is desirable.
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust processes to meet metallurgical quality and performance requirements for aerospace components.
• Improve manufacturing methods to increase yields and reduce labor content.
• Investigate external customer escapes, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Determine manufacturing requirements to meet customer needs; perform metallurgical investigations and document processes.
• Monitor yields, labor, and materials data to identify process improvements.
