Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Eastlake seeks a skilled Furnace Operator to support production in a fast-paced foundry environment. You will operate and monitor furnace equipment, ensuring processes meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards while collaborating with team members to maintain performance.

This role requires attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions in a high-temperature setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Previous foundry experience desired.
• Certifications/Licenses: None
• Other required abilities: Read/write, follow instructions, lift 60 lbs, withstand extreme heat, basic computer skills, teamwork, sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders and schedules to plan assignments.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment with basic tools.
• Load molds into pre-heat ovens for casting.
• Prepare furnaces for casting and monitor operation.
