Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Simi Valley, CA is seeking an associate Inspector to cover inspection responsibilities across the facility. You will use precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to engineering specs and support calibration and gaging activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining gage setup, calibrations, training operators, and working with quality engineering on new or modified gaging. This onsite role offers a pay range of $26–$36 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of inspection and gaging in a mechanical calibration environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 10012 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 calibration system requirements.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems, GD&T, and MTM methods (MSA, GR&R, Cpk).
• Ability to set up inspection equipment, perform calibration, and maintain records with GAGEtrak.
• Lean manufacturing exposure and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate inspection gauges and measuring equipment to verify product conformance.
• Set up and adjust gauges per specifications and verify calibration history.
• Develop standard work for gage setup and reduce queue time.
• Train operators on proper gauge usage and longevity.
• Support quality engineering on new or modified gaging and MSAs.
