Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Engineer for the Quality Engineering Team. You will ensure the accuracy of MTE used in aerospace manufacturing, develop calibration processes, and maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO 17025, and other standards.

The role requires a engineering degree and 2–5 years in calibration or metrology, with strong GD&T knowledge. You will lead calibration procedures, manage suppliers, analyze data for improvements, and support audits.

Qualifications

2-5 years of calibration, metrology, or quality engineering experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of metrology principles and GD&T.
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, and related standards.
ASQ CCT or Six Sigma Green Belt certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve a calibration program meeting industry standards and requirements.
Schedule calibrations to ensure compliance and minimize downtime.
Document calibration activities with QA records and QM system requirements.
Develop procedures for aerospace MTE calibration per AS9100/ISO 17025.
