Job summary

CTS Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks a Technical Designer to support on-site in Renton, Auburn, Puyallup, and Everett, WA. This Level 3 role is 12+ months on a contract basis with a pay rate up to $48.00/hour and first shift.

You will apply drafting principles, create drafted parts and structures, and translate engineer feedback into precise geometry. You will work across teams to resolve design issues in real time within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in aerospace design, including detail and assembly parts.
• CATIA experience.
• IVT use and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide materials and process support to aerospace programs throughout the full life cycle from design to production.
• Review materials and process specifications for design controls and production readiness.
• Identify impacts of non-conformances and implement corrective actions for future avoidance.
• Conduct failure analysis to determine root cause and corrective actions for electrical components.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to solve materials and process challenges across the life cycle.
