Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a SolidWorks Designer to develop precise 3D models and CAD drafts for aerospace parts and industrial equipment within a focused design team.

You will create detailed models, conduct design reviews, develop prototypes, document manufacturing processes, and optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability while collaborating with production teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CAD design experience required.
• Hands-on experience with aerospace and industrial equipment is preferred.
• Ability to develop prototypes and test design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and CAD drafts of aerospace and industrial components.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure accuracy and specifications.
• Develop prototypes and assist in testing design concepts.
• Prepare technical documentation for manufacturing and quality control.
• Optimize designs for function, cost, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production processes.
• Maintain version control and update design files.
• Select materials based on project requirements and performance criteria.
