Job summary

Andromeda Systems Incorporated (ASI) is seeking experienced CAD Designers and Operators to support US DoD projects in our Jacksonville, FL office. You will develop and update 2D drawings and 3D CAD models to meet MIL-STD and industry standards.

Responsibilities include collaborating with teammates, applying standards, and planning with independence. Strong AutoCAD skills and familiarity with other CAD tools are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing 2D drawings and 3D models/drawings.
• Familiarity with drawing standards such as MIL-STD-31000A, ASME Y.14.100-2018, NAVAIRINST 5600.14E.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and other major CAD tools.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Follow standards and instructions (MIL-STD-31000A, ASME Y.14.100-2018, NAVAIRINST 5600.14E).
• Collaborate with teammates to produce a quality and consistent product.
• Plan and accomplish goals with creativity and latitude.
