Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA, seeks a Cable and Harness Technician - Level 2 to join our onsite team. You will support mechanical and electrical engineers, build and test harness assemblies, and work from detailed drawings to set up test fixtures.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of related education or experience, experience with engineering drawings, and DC harness wiring knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• No clearance required to start
• Must have experience working with Engineering drawings and written work instructions.
• Knowledge of DC harness wiring using various connectors including D-Sub, Micro-D and Circular connectors.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assemble and test flight cable assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Use schematics and diagrams to perform testing, troubleshooting and prototype work.
• Analyze data and recommend changes to meet specs.
• Other duties as assigned.
