Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an Assembler in Garden Grove, CA to build mission-critical cable assemblies and wire harnesses for aerospace and defense applications. You will follow detailed drawings and work instructions, performing soldering, crimping, wiring, harness routing, and testing in a high-mix/low-volume setting.

Responsibilities include rework and inspection, maintaining test reports, and adhering to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Soldering experience required.
• Experience with crimpers, strippers, soldering irons, potting, molding, or cable-assembly testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex cable harnesses following detailed work instructions and blueprints.
• Perform precision assembly tasks including soldering, crimping, wire termination, harness routing, and test reports.
• Conduct electro-mechanical and mechanical testing of subassemblies and final assemblies.
