Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I to drive NPI, manufacturing, and supply chain for satellites and aerospace electronics. You will partner with engineering, program management, and the supply chain to industrialize processes and ensure scalable operations in a high-reliability environment.

The role emphasizes process improvement, data analysis, and training across teams, with opportunities to apply SQL, dashboards, and ERP/PLM tools in a startup-like setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 0-2 years of applicable experience.
• Experience with change management EIA-649, nonconformance documentation, root cause analysis, corrective action systems, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with cost analysis, managing suppliers, and configuration management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary process improvement resource across assigned transformation workstreams.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and independent research to understand current processes.
• Perform analyses (SQL queries, other methods) to identify issues and opportunities.
• Integrate with all levels of the business to understand workflows and identify gaps.
• Create process documentation and process maps.
• Identify process breakdowns and offer improvement suggestions to drive efficiency.
• Train internal users, external technical teams, and leaders on dashboard, API, and tool usage.
• Ensure redesigned processes provide a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
• Leverage technology to further improve processes, including automation.
• Improve data capture for future Account Management uses with software teams on table structure.
