Job summary

Wayne Wire Cloth Products, Inc. seeks an Aerospace Torch and Induction Braze Operator to perform torch and induction brazing on aerospace filter components. You will join dissimilar metals, read braze schedules, and ensure quality in a safety-conscious environment.

You will participate in a structured 3-phase training program to become a Qualified Brazer, gaining expertise in Monel and related materials while maintaining strict customer standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Math skills: Basic math (fractions, decimals, units).
• Vision: pass eye exam and color vision test for brazing details.
• Physical: sit for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, work in warm shop with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise torch and induction brazing on aerospace filter components per customer specs.
• Join dissimilar metals including Monel and delicate meshes.
• Set up jobs, read/write braze schedules, perform in-process quality audits.
