Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a blast technician to clean and prepare parts for processing using high pressure equipment.

Responsibilities include prioritizing jobs, selecting media per specifications, completing paperwork as required, and ensuring proper PPE and safety guidelines are followed. Maintain a clean work area and dispose of hazardous waste correctly; perform other duties as assigned. This role requires compliance with EAR/ITAR controls and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine priority of jobs to begin preparing for processing.
• Select appropriate media according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.
• Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed.
• Maintain a clean working area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash.
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.
