Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Automation / Test Engineer II to design, develop, maintain, and optimize equipment used in the build and test of accelerometers. You will collaborate with design, development, and manufacturing teams to ensure reliable automation systems and up-to-date documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical/electronic engineering and 2+ years of automation or test engineering experience, with strong hardware/software knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronic engineering or similar.
• 2+ years of experience in automation engineering, test engineering, advanced manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of automation engineering including hardware and software.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, automation, robotics, hardware design, software design.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control.

Responsibilities

• Automation Development: Design and develop automated solutions for production processes.
• Prepare and execute test plans to validate automation systems.
• System Maintenance: Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems for optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on automation software and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and maintenance of automation systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, configurations, and procedures.
• Create and update standard work and webpages for operators.
