Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is opening a state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing facility in Mendota Heights, MN, and seeks an Automation Maintenance Technician who will help shape maintenance systems, standards, and reliability programs from day one. You will troubleshoot and maintain advanced automation equipment and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Millwright, or Instrumentation & Controls (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs (especially Allen-Bradley systems).
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Support a safe, high-performance workplace by following safety and environmental standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across automated equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
• Document maintenance activity within our CMMS system.
• Help establish and maintain a critical spare-parts inventory strategy.
• Support startup activities, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Expand your skills through ongoing training, certifications, and exposure to advanced automation technologies.
