Job summary

Albany International Corp. in Rochester, NH, seeks an Electronics and Controls Technician to maintain and troubleshoot automated equipment for composite manufacturing. You will modify and upgrade equipment, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support capital projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, SCADA systems, and motion control software, plus strong problem‑solving and drawing interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or NH Masters electrical license.
• Allen Bradley training certifications through Rockwell Automation.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in motion controls and automation.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical, motion control and software systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
• PLC Programming (Rockwell controls).
• Troubleshooting and testing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and install automated equipment used in composite manufacturing.
• Assist in modification and upgrades to equipment to meet design specifications.
• Drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Identify, maintain and troubleshoot AB RS LOGIX 5000 programs.
• Integrate safety controls in manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure equipment compliance to electrical, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support production equipment and related capital projects.
