Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace ETS in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Automated Test Equipment Engineer within Control Systems to support development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electro-mechanical test solutions for aerospace products.

You will report to the Test Engineering Manager, work onsite at our Tempe, AZ site, and participate in test data analysis, equipment selection, software programming, and operator training while documenting insights and ensuring robust test processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or math.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering or test lab environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review test procedures and translate to equipment requirements.
• Select hardware for test equipment.
• Program test equipment software.
• Validate and verify integrated solutions.
• Create software documentation and releases.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions on test units/equipment.
• Analyze test data and present findings.
• Train operators on test equipment.
• Quote and estimate future projects.
