Textron in Broussard, LA is seeking an Autoclave Tech to operate autoclaves, cure composite parts, and ensure material preparation, loading, processing, and documentation meet engineering and quality specs. You will collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain schedules and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing or aerospace, familiarity with autoclave processes, SAP/Ariba familiarity, and a strong safety/quality mindset.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment preferred.
• Experience with autoclaves, ovens, composite layup, or bonded structures is a plus.
• Proficient in data entry, work instruction access, and cure cycle monitoring systems.

Responsabilidades

• Operate autoclaves and related equipment per procedures, safety and cure cycles.
• Load/unload parts, tools, fixtures into/out of autoclave with proper placement and support.
• Prepare and verify vacuum bag assemblies, thermocouples, instrumentation per instructions.
• Monitor autoclave parameters and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Record cure data, charts, and logs for quality and traceability; escalate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production and quality to support schedules, process improvements, and issue resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of autoclave area and related equipment.
• Issue parts and materials to production/service orders; verify inventory accuracy.
• Order non-product items through Ariba; close out service and production orders after completion.
• Create 8130-3, 337 or Certificate of Conformance paperwork.
• Operate forklifts and other handling equipment per safety rules.
• Follow safety, environmental and hazmat handling procedures; wear PPE.
• Support training and participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
