Job summary

Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima in Yakima, WA is seeking an Assembly Test Technician 2 for the Repair & Overhaul Department. The role involves mechanical assembly, functional tests, and documentation with shift rotations and potential overtime.

You will work with hydraulic systems, read blueprints, and participate in continuous improvement. A high school diploma and at least 2 years of related experience are required; a 15% 3rd shift premium applies, and safety and teamwork are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' related experience.
• Safety oriented; participate in continuous improvement.
• General mechanical knowledge/background.
• Preferred knowledge of advanced hydraulic and electro‑hydraulic theory and formula.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly, functional tests, test setups and finish operations per blueprints with minimal supervision.
• Conduct functional tests on multiple machines to maximize quality and productivity.
• Determine sequence of assembly operations with Manufacturing Engineering and QC to optimize processes.
• Identify suitable test applications for automation and improvement opportunities.
• Determine cause and corrective action through failure analysis with Design Engineering and QC.
• Maintain orderly records of work performed, test setups, shop books, photos, and procedures.
