Job summary

TRIUMPH in Yakima, WA is seeking an Assembly Test Technician to perform mechanical assembly, testing, and repair work on hydraulic actuators and related components. The role involves reading blueprints, conducting functional tests, and collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes.

The position may rotate between 1st and 3rd shifts with a 15% premium on the 3rd shift and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Safe use of hand/power tools required.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and hydraulic diagrams is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Willing to work in a team and participate in process improvements.
• Must be able to work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and repair components per blueprints and planning with minimal supervision.
• Perform functional tests and setup on multiple machines to maximize quality and productivity.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Control to optimize processes.
• Identify suitable test applications for automation and improvement opportunities.
• Record test setups, procedures, and results with accurate documentation.
