Job summary

Triumph in Yakima, WA is seeking an Assembly Test Technician on the 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri, 2:20 PM - 10:50 PM) to assemble hydraulic components, perform functional tests, and report defects with minimal supervision. The role includes using precision tools, reading drawings, and ensuring compliance with quality plans.

Position pay range is $20.62–$32.00 per hour with a 10% shift premium and a focus on continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General mechanical knowledge or background required.
• Ability to perform applied math calculations used in mechanical assembly (including measurements, conversions, and tolerances).
• Familiarity with precision measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings/blueprints, including dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various critical tolerance hydraulic assembly components while following work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
• Finish applications such as lockwire, sealant, and paint touch-up. Installation of identification plates, grease fittings, clamps, and zip ties.
• Using a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments that monitor and verify drawing/work order requirements are being met.
• Monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with manufacturing planning, quality plans, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to calibrate pressure gauges and transducers per Acceptance Test Procedure requirements.
• Understand and complete acceptance test procedures with little to no supervision.
• Ensuring part quality by utilizing the correct tooling, and standard practices.
• Meeting production deadlines by following manufacturing schedule and procedures.
