Qualifications

• Legal: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
• ITAR: U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as required by ITAR.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable with hand/power tools and mechanical assembly.
• Technical Skills: Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Attention to Detail: High focus and commitment to quality.
• Physical Demands: Able to stand, sit, and lift moderately heavy parts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using hand and power tools.
• File, lap, and buff parts to ensure a perfect fit between mating components and adjust parts for smooth operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications to determine parts and assembly sequences.
• Measure parts to ensure tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and verniers; inspect and adjust finished units.
• Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies; attach nameplates and mark identifying information for traceability.
• Carefully disassemble units to replace defective parts or prepare for shipping.
