Amazon Leo in Kirkland, WA seeks a Manufacturing Assembly Technician II (1st Shift) to join our fast-paced satellite production team. You will assemble and test avionics LRUs, electronics, and fiber-optic components, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Requires 1+ year in high-traceability manufacturing, hands-on tools, and ability to read engineering drawings. 6:00 am–4:30 pm PST, Sun–Wed, with overtime. Amazon offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment or relevant trade school certification.
• 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches).
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that validate the system.
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings.

Responsabilités

• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
• Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, fiber-optics, and PCBAs.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory.
• Execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients.
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
