Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Associate or Experienced Assembly/Process and Production Support Engineer for North Charleston, SC. The role supports M&P Engineering at Boeing South Carolina with new tech implementation for the 787 program and collaboration across sites.

The position emphasizes tool and process development, supplier qualification, and hands-on production support in a 1st shift onsite environment. Relocation assistance is available and eligibility depends on location and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry required.
• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years and related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements, test and approve tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes used in design, manufacture and maintenance.
• Produce specifications and documents to manage deployment of tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes.
• Maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Promote standardization of assembly best practices across activities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for business needs.
• Develop and qualify new tools, equipment, materials, and processes; integrate new technologies as appropriate.
• Manage test and audit programs to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements.
• Conduct analysis to characterize performance or determine failure causes.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Use project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements.
• Foster safety and First Pass Quality mindset.
