Ōnin Aerospace is seeking an Assembly Mechanic in Wichita, KS to join a high-precision aerospace team. You will read blueprints, assemble and test fuselage components, and ensure compliance with engineering specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of assembly experience involving fuselage integration.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
• Must have your own toolbox & tools.
• Must be able to work shift/OT/weekend as assigned.
• Must be able to pass the plate test.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision and other structural and system components from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established processes.
• Functional test and correct, fit form and function of assemblies and components.
• Verify work performed per work instructions and meet specifications; identify discrepancies.
• Ensure equipment and tool certification occurs per procedure.
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of daily duties.
• Move product within the manufacturing area and assist in training other assembly personnel.
• Cross train in inspection and become SIA qualified.
